What is the Ambassador program?
The program is designed to train individuals for potential leadership positions in NABJ. They will learn the ins and outs of the organization, how the executive board organizes meetings and how to perform the day-to-day operations of the association. Ambassadors will be prepared to plan and host meetings and events.
Why should I be interested?
In addition to leadership experience, ambassadors are able to gain professionalism, public speaking, management and teamwork skills. Many of our ambassadors go on to become a part of the exec board.
What is the program doing this year?
This year, the program will be doing something new. The ambassadors will have the opportunity to run their own show in collaboration with the UNT Career Center. We will need writers, anchors, camera operators, etc. and ambassadors will have full creative control. This is a great way to gain real-world experience, and everyone is encouraged to apply!
