What’s it Like to Be Black on Campus?

In late 2015, in the wake of a chain of events that happened at University of Missouri, black professors and students took to twitter to explain what it was like for them to be black on their respective campuses. The digital conversation allowed many to see how particular some of these events can be, and if those situations were blatantly done.

While this did happen almost two years ago, we still use this as a talking point in our meetings, as these micro aggressions happen on a global scale. Here are just a few tweets from the conversation; we will have a similar set up for when we hold our own meeting around race relations on campus.
